Day 1: Hue City - Arrival
Welcome at Phu Bai airport Hue. Our
driver will pick you up at the airport and be transferred to hotel in
Center of Hue City. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Hue.
Day 2: Hue City Tour - boat trip (B, L)
A boat trip on the romantically named
PerfumeRiver visits Hue’s best-known religious site, Thien Mu Pagoda,
and the mausoleum of former emperor Minh Mang, in a tranquil setting of
gardens and lakes. In the afternoon visit the elaborate mausoleums of
emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh and the Imperial Citadel from where the
Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. Back hotel in the late
afternoon. Overnight in Hue.
Day 3: Hue - Phong Nha Caves tour (B, L, D)
Breakfast at the hotel then meet our
local tour guide and have breakfast at local restaurant. Drive up north
to Phong Nha. On the way, stop to visit Vinh Moc tunnel. Continue to
Phong Nha, having lunch before taking a boat trip from a critical point
of the Hochiminh trail to go inside and visit PhongNha cave, know as the
longest and most beautiful karsts caves in the world. Day finishes in
the late afternoon. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Phong
Nha, Quang Binh.
Day 4: Phong Nha - DMZ - KheSanh - Hue (B,L)
Drive to visit the other sites of the
former fierce battle fields on the DMZ including the former American
bases as Rock Piles, CampCarol and Khe Sanh; take a short walk on the
HOchiminh trail and visit Van Kieu village. Lunch at local restaurant.
Continue to view the war-torn ruins of the Quang Tri church and the
wreckage of an American tank. Process south to Hue and transfer to
selected hotel.
Day 5: Hue - Danang - Hoi An City tour (B)
AM: Our driver take you to Hoi An Old
Town, we will cross Hai Van Pass where you will have magnificent view of
the China Sea. Stop at Lang Co to have break. Check in hotel and have
lunch by you.
Transfer to hotel for check in upon
arrival. Having lunch before doing a walking tour of the ancient town
centre to visit former merchants’ houses, the 400 year-old Japanese
Covered Bridge and the colourful market. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: Hoi An - My Son tour (B, L)
A half day trip to visit the capital and
religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son. Here, 40km
southwest of Hoi An, in a lush green valley, are dozens of red brick
towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries.
On the way back to Hoi An stop to visit Tra Kieu, formerly known as
Simhapura or the Lion Citadel, the capital of Champa between the 4th and
8th centuries. Some of the finest sculpture in Danang’s ChamMuseum
originated from here. Back and overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An - Danang Depart (B)
The morning is at leisure until transfer to Danang Airport for onward flight.
